Tybee Island Georgia

26th September 2016
My very first and long over due trip to Tybee Island Georgia. The weather was less than perfect, but you go with what you are given. Tybee Island is eclectic, and different from most barrier islands that are vacation spots, and I mean this in a god way. No high rise condos, no big chain hotels and resorts. Tybee has a very good mom and pop feel to it. It also seems like a suburb of Savannah. There are a large number of year round houses and condos. Nice wide beach offers plenty of room for privacy. These shots are all from an early morning visit in late September.

Tybee Island Light house sits on the North Beach end of the island.
